Don Joe

Merging ’80s electro and Italo home with pop, hip-hop, rock and roll, and spirit, beatmaker, rapper, producer, and DJ Don Joe is among the leading figures from the contemporary Italian urban scene. Given birth to Luigi Florio in the tiny city of Bresso, simply outside Milan, in 1975, his music profession started when R&B vocalist Irene Lamedica asked him to become her recognized tour MC, and after a brief stint in collective Le Sacre Scuole, he created Golf club Dogo with two from the collective’s users, Gue Pequeno and Jake La Furia. The trio released its 2003 debut, Mi Fist, before becoming a member of forces with a complete host of additional rappers and DJs to produce the 17-solid Dogo Gang team. Don Joe continuing to alternate between your two tasks, while also generating information for bandmates Marracash and Vincenzo da Via Anfossi aswell as founded American titles like Cassidy and Designs P; collaborating with Grand Agent for the 2005 recording Regular; and liberating several mixtapes beneath the Dogoinfamous brand. In 2011, he accomplished his biggest achievement with Thori e Rocce, a studio room recording with Italian-Argentine maker DJ Shabla, which presented a “who’s who” visitor lineup of his homeland’s biggest hip-hop celebrities.
