Dolf van der Linden

b. David Gysberet truck der Linden, 22 June 1915, Vlaardingen, Netherlands. As conductor from the well-known Metropole Orchestra, Dolf truck der Linden was among Holland’s leading music artists in the post-war years, producing exclusive recordings which marketed across the world. Originally executing generally for the local radio audience, truck der Linden’s 52 music artists in the Metropole Orchestra shortly gained a popularity among the finest in European countries. As visitor conductor he caused leading orchestras in Britain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, France and Israel. Through the Nord Band Celebration in 1977 he earned the prize as greatest conductor. Truck der Linden mixed his arranging abilities with a significant skill for composing, and his functions were recognized by many London disposition music libraries, whose specific recordings are created for exclusive make use of by radio, tv and film businesses. He also executed several recordings, using different pseudonyms, including: Paul Franklin, Nat Nyll and David Johnson. For his industrial recordings he was known variously as Vehicle Lynn, Daniel de Carlo, Gerard Blene, Alex Pinto and Man Brain. Confusingly several his own functions received different game titles when published in a variety of countries, but his best-known included: ‘Remembrance’, ‘Carnival Period’, ‘Desk Chat’, ‘Guy From Mars’, ‘Sagebrush’, ‘Utopia Street’, ‘Best Drawer’, ‘Grand Canyon’, ‘Terra Del Fuego’, ‘Recreation area Street Serenade’ (his theme music), ‘Jamaica Street’, ‘Manufacturing plant City’ and ‘Rhapsody For Piano And Orchestra’.
