This Brazilian band was formed by Roberto Campos and Barão in the very beginning of the ’90s. The band’s name acquired Greek origins and identifies something unquestionable and fundamental for spiritual beliefs. Before releasing their initial disc, Record, the music group played many gigs in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), including as a particular visitor to Marcus Viana on five-string electrical violin. Nonetheless it is at a music celebration in Rio de Janeiro in Oct 1992 that Dogma become recognized to the prog rock and roll world market. Their first function, Record, premiered in 1993 as well as the camaraderie with Viana led to a particular appearance in the Compact disc.
