A far more traditional (go through: raw, furious, and frequently unintelligible) Norwegian dark metal music group, Dodheimsgard featured guitarist/vocalist Aldrahn, bassist/backing vocalist Fenriz, and drummer Vicotnik in its original incarnation. (The band’s name means something such as “kingdom of loss of life” or “globe of specters.”) 1995 found the discharge from the band’s debut recording, Kronet Til Konge, and Fenriz departed; previous Aura Noir member Apollyon and ex-Emperor bassist Alver became a member of up for the band’s second launch, Monumental Ownership. Both albums had been originally documented for Harmful and had been reissued in the U.S. in 1999 by Hundred years Media.
