Doctor Father

Doctor Dad was a saving alias employed by Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme for the discharge of the one “Umbopo” b/w “Move On” in the summertime of 1970. The three acquired previously enjoyed lots two U.K. strike with “Neanderthal Guy” beneath the alias Hotlegs, and acquired decided to execute a rewrite of “There Ain’t No Umbopo,” lots that that they had previously supplied towards the creation group of Jerry Kasanetz and Jeff Katz within a songwriting/creation contract (using the discharge acknowledged to Crazy Elephant). The record didn’t repeat the achievement of the Hotlegs discharge — despite Radio Northsea picking right up the one for large airplay, and even though it was the task from the same folks from starting to end who acquired popular with “Neanderthal Man” — and Doctor Dad disappeared.
