Doc Dehaven

The son of the saxophone and clarinet player for the Bunny Berigan Music group, Doc DeHaven (born Doster Robert DeHaven) has produced his presence felt in the jazz scene of Wisconsin for half a century. Regarding his Chicago-style jazz music group, he performed three evenings a week on the Pirate Dispatch Club in Madison, WI, from 1957-1970. Although he started playing piano within the 5th grade, DeHaven discovered his organic musical tone of voice after switching towards the trumpet in junior senior high school. Developing his first music group while students at the School of Wisconsin in Madison in 1953, he proceeds to utilize the group. His little girl, Kelly, sang using the music group for quite some time. Monitors from DeHaven’s five albums had been put together and released because the Greatest of Doc DeHaven in 1995. The previous music movie director of a higher college in Madison, DeHaven proceeds to instruct privately.
