Biography

Blessed in Moscow, Dmitri Alexeev (also spelled Alexeyev) started to play the piano from age five. At six he moved into the Moscow Central Music College and later researched with Dmitri Bashkirov in the Moscow Conservatoire. Around 1970, Alexeev started to make the rounds of your competition circuit, earning awards in the 1969 Marguerite Very long Concours in Paris, the 1970 Enescu Competition in Bucharest, as well as the 1974 Tchaikovsky Competition.
