Like a composer, Djalma Ferreira had success with “Bicharada,” “Cheiro de Zdaudade,” “Recado,” “Lamento,” “Murmúrio,” and “Devaneio” (the second option four with Luís Antônio), “Volta” (with Luís Bandeira), and “Nosso Samba.” In 1938, he previously one of is own tunes, “Longe Dos Olhos” (with Cristóvão de Alencar) by Francisco Alves and Sílvio Caldas, documented for the very first time.
