DJ Patife

DJ Patife had connection with the drum’n’bass picture through friend DJ Marky even though working in an archive shop. DJ Patife’s initial gig was at São Paulo’s Area Music Hall. In 1997, he journeyed to European countries with Marky. There, he followed Roni Size within the delivery from the Mercury Award. With crescent reputation, Patife released his initial record in 2000, Noises of Drum’n’bass. The record was praised by Britain journals Muzik and MixMag, leading to an invitation release a the album for the reason that nation. In 2000, Patife, Marky, as well as the Drumagick duo performed for 5,000 people in São Paulo. Patife’s remix for Utmost de Castro’s “Pra Você Lembrar” was popular within the Londoner dance paths and was contained in the primary Britain dance journals’ playlists. Three of Patife’s tracks were contained in the compilation Brazil EP, released in Britain by V Recordings. In 2000, he participated in Otto’s double-CD Changez Tout – Samba Pra Burro Dissecado and in Fernanda Porto’s record. Patife performed within the 2001 edition of the Rock and roll in Rio celebration. Also in 2001, he performed within the U.S., Scotland, London, and Amsterdam.
