DJ 13

DJ 13 (given birth to Carlos Julio Molina) is actually a Latin hip-hop pioneer in Venezuela, where he joined a music group called la Corte which became among the 1st local acts to execute that design. Carlos Julio Molina, aka Tony Armas, and Johnny Flecha analyzed art and style in the U.S. After finding a level in plastic artwork from San Francisco’s Artwork Institute, he quickly decided to try popular music, implementing the nickname of DJ 13 in 1997. Fivetimesloco became his debut recording, featuring efforts by Argenis Brito, aka Señor Coconut, Sur Carabela’s bassist Ervin Schafer, and vocalist Annabella Almenar.
