Diving with Andy

Diving With Andy was a France Indie-Pop trio produced in the first 00s in Paris around Juliette Paquereau (vocals), Julien Perreaudeau (guitars, bass, drums, keyboards) and Rémy Galichet (piano, guitars) and writing its time taken between France and Britain. After an initial publicity in Les Inrockuptibles magazine’s 2003 newcomer competition, the band visited Bruxelles, Belgium to record an initial self-titled LP in 2004. Though not really reaching commercial achievement, the record was warmly received in the critics aspect, those appreciating Diving With Andy’s assimilation of their Brit-Pop and melancholic Smiths-derived affects, offered by Juliette Paquereau’s gorgeous voice (that was absent the normal French highlight that in some way threatens many formations lyrical reliability) and the rest of the duo’s musical workmanship.
