The Norwegian loss of life metal band Dismal Euphony was led by Ole K. Helgesen and Kristoffer Austrheim, longtime close friends who created their first music group, the Headless Kids, in 1992 in the shared age group of 13. Using the improvements of vocalist Erik Borgen and guitarist Kenneth Bergsagel, a season afterwards the group transformed its name to Carnal Tomb; after Borgen was dismissed, Helgesen got over vocal tasks, and following recruitment of second vocalist Linn Achre Tveit and keyboardist Elin Overskott, the revamped line-up was rechristened Dismal Euphony. In 1995 they documented a demonstration, Spellbound, which developed considerable interest through the entire European death steel underground; it had been subsequently released commercially being a self-titled EP for the Napalm label. The full-length Soria Moria Slott implemented in 1996, and a season afterwards Dismal Euphony came back with Fall Leaves–The Rebellion of Tides. The achievement of both albums brought the group towards the interest of Nuclear Blast Information, which released their third record, All Small Devils, in 1999. Female Ablaze implemented a year afterwards; Fall Leaves and Python No were released in early 2001.
