Diskonnekted may be the alias of Belgian electronic body system music (EBM) performer Jan Dewulf, whose design is inspired by industrial rock and roll in addition to electronic dance. Located in Ostend, Belgium, Dewulf started making music within the mid-’90s beneath the alias Mildreda. Following the switch of the hundred years, he varied his design of EBM and founded a fresh musical task, Diskonnekted, to represent his brand-new musical path. Dewulf produced his saving debut as Diskonnekted in 2003 for the label Dying Lifestyle with the record Jesus Raves. He eventually signed a documenting contract using the label Alfa Matrix, which released his second record, Neon Evening (2005), alongside an associated 11-monitor EP, After Einstein (2005), generally made up of remixes. Following Diskonnekted produces on Alfa Matrix add a collaborative EP with Dive, Frozen (2006), along with a third full-length record, Old School Procedures (2008). While fundamentally the one-man studio task of Dewulf, Diskonnekted features extra bandmembers Christophe “Hitman” Salvatore, Didier “Snake” Salvatore, and Schidde during live shows.
