Still revered in underground circles simply because doom-grind pioneers, Melbourne, Australia’s Disembowelment still left simply because their legacy just a set of extremely traded demos (1990’s Mourning Sept and 1991’s Deep Sensory Procession into Aural Destiny), an EP called Dusk (1992), along with a very much emulated 1993 LP entitled Transcendence in to the Peripheral. But just what a legacy. The final two stay genre classics and had been issued with the Relapse label, and bandmembers Renato Gallina (vocals/electric guitar), Jason Kells (electric guitar), Matthew Skarajew (bass), and Paul Mazziotta (drums) sadly disbanded because of growing musical distinctions, having never also performed live.
