Contacting what they perform “outlaw folk American,” the El Paso, Texas-born group the Soiled River Boys create an energetic mixture of tight narrative music, bluegrass drive, multi-part vocal harmonies, gospel passion, and a good dose of rock and roll & move attitude right into a potent combine that is even more amazing to be entirely acoustic. Associates Nino Cooper, Marco Gutierrez, Travis Stearns, and Colton Adam are multi-instrumentalists, trading off guitars, banjos, mandolins, fiddles, harmonicas, snare drums, as well as the cajon container while adding three- and four-part vocal harmonies to firmly written music full of unforgettable characters and tales. The music group released two EPs, Lengthy Frosty Fall and PLACE, before providing a full-length recording, Science of Airline flight, in 2012.
