Dirty Looks

Dirty Looks (never to be baffled with the later-’80s metal music group from the same name) were formed in the later ’70s in Staten Isle, NY. Made up of Patrick Barnes (electric guitar/vocals), Peter Parker (drums/vocals), and Marco Sin (bass/vocals), the trio started playing their hard-rocking power pop at Max’s Kansas Town and CBGB where these were uncovered by Stiff Information’ Dave Robinson. Robinson agreed upon them, anticipating these were “another big matter.” After launching one brilliant one (“RELEASE”), an excellent but however overlooked debut LP for Stiff, and a mediocre follow-up, the music group faded into obscurity.
