The nephew of influential Jamaican producer Osbourne “Ruler Tubby” Ruddock, Digital K (born Keith Ruddock) has carved his own niche as an imaginative producer of dub recordings. Located in Miami, FL, since 1985, Digital K is constantly on the fuse sampling, reggae, hip-hop, spirit, jungle, house, origins, acidity jazz, and blue funk into what he known as “the brand new dub.” Digital K offered an extended apprenticeship along with his uncle. As a kid, he spent hours at Ruler Tubby’s recording studio room within the Waterhouse area of Kingston, conference such performers as Bob Marley, U-Roy, and Bunny Lee. By his 15th birthday, he previously turn into a full-time associate at the studio room. After shifting to america, he worked well briefly under his uncle’s protégé, Scientist.
