Atlanta-based Latin rock act Diestra started playing hard rock in the middle-’90s. Led by brothers Ricardo and Luis Bonilla, the music group turned into alternate pop/rock and roll and electronica, merging Latin rhythms and modern sounds, obtaining catchy dance tunes and acoustic music. After issuing an EP known as Ultrasonido, Diestra released 2001’s Sin Dirección.
