A nice guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, Unteed led his music group, the Pinetop Hill Boys, for quite some time, making several well-known albums in the past due 60s. Among regular associates of the music group had been Danny Milhone (dobro/electric guitar), Jack port Casey (electric guitar), Howard Hicks (fiddle), Ross Branham (banjo), and Dick Brickles (bass). Unteed, who also performed the Jew’s Harp, was generally featured being a singer over the group’s recordings. Mainly, the group’s recordings had been of comic music. Indeed, among Unteed’s recordings frequently features in irreverent lists of unusually entitled country music: ‘Hardly ever Strike Your Grandma USING A Shovel’. Unteed also worked well as a maker and in this capability was associated with Don Reno and Crimson Smiley for his or her 1972 recording, Collectively Again.
