Dick Dahl

The lead vocalist and chief songwriter for New York-based party rock quartet, Stratotanker, Dick Dahl has increasingly considered film like a medium for his musicologist-like exploration. His 2000 film, the Ballad Of Ramblin’ Jack port, co-written using the subject’s child, Aiyana Elliott, informed the story from the important Brooklyn-born folksinger. Dahl also collaborated with Elliott on the video documentary about the Huichole Indians from the Mexican Sierra Madre. A graduate from the University or college of New Hampshire, where he gained a qualification in books, Dahl has continuing to understand through personal knowledge, spending expanded period using the Mayan Indians of Guatemala as well as the Berber natives of Morocco.
