Diamond View Wrists can be an experimental psychedelic cooperation between manufacturer Guillermo Scott Herren (most widely known for his are Prefuse 73) and drummer Zach Hill (from the music group Hella) that produced its record debut in ’09 2009 with Glaciers Capped in Both Ends on Warp Information. Herren, who increased to underground popularity after the important achievement of his record debut as Prefuse 73, the glitch traditional Vocal Research + Uprock Narratives (2001), produces music under a number of monikers, a few of them collaborations. Furthermore to Prefuse 73, he’s released music as Savath & Savalas, Piano Overlord, and Delarosa & Asora. Hill, a self-taught drummer with an unconventional design, is furthermore known for his collaborative character. While he’s most widely known for his are the drummer of Hella, he’s also highlighted on recordings by Marnie Stern, Criminal offense in Choir, Flössin, and Great Moon, among numerous others. Furthermore, Hill produced his solo record debut in 2008 with Astrological Straits on Ipecac Information. Among the countless tasks with which both of these collaborators have already been included, the Diamond View Wrists project is certainly notable because of its psychedelic design, specifically Herren’s psych-folk vocals. Among three Herren-helmed albums released within a month’s amount of time in 2009 (others including Prefuse 73’s Everything She Handled Made Ampexian on Warp Information and Savath & Savalas’ La Llama on Rocks Throw Information), Glaciers Capped at Both Ends was minimal enthusiastically received. Warp labelmate Tyondai Braxton of Fights is highlighted on duet vocals.
