Self-describing their appear as “truly bastardized ska,” Diablotones met up in 1997 to be able to verify that their indigenous of Seattle wasn’t about angst loaded grunge music. Comprising Timmy Revenue (bass/vocals), Stevo (drums), Topher Mesloh (trombone), Ric Penttila (trumpet), Frank Holman (Hammond), Pat Preston (electric guitar/vocals), and Nick Shelestak (saxophone), the rings sound will be critically set alongside the likes from the Independents and Mephiskaphales, because they self-parodied themselves being a satanic ska music group. The following calendar year, Diablotones released their self-titled debut full-length through their very own funding.
