Dhol Foundation

The multi-membered Dhol Base (named following a North Indian drum created from a big wooden shell) combines components of both classic Indian music using the unmistakable rhythms of world music, developing a completely original and compelling sound. The group’s head is certainly arranger/drummer/keyboardist/vocalist Johnny Kalsi, who discovered his tips of the trade from being truly a person in the acclaimed Bhangra music group Alaap.
