Dhafer Youssef

Vocalist, composer, and oud participant Dhafer Youssef was created in 1967 in Teboulba, Tunisia. The oud can be an Arabic lute, a string device that can accomplish a lovely sound from those that learn how to expert it. Youssef started performing when he was just five-years-old. Since that time he provides performed for viewers in Tunisia, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, and various other countries. In 2002, Youssef released Electric powered Sufi on Enja and added digital components and funky grooves to his genre-bending audio.
