Devon Russell

Devon Russell’s birthplace and day are just as much a secret because the gaping openings in his saving career. The nice swinging reggae guy began using the Tartans, a middle-’60s rock constant vocal group made up of Russell, Prince Lincoln Thompson, Linbergh “Preps” Lewis, and Cedric Myton; they disbanded after their 1967 strike “Dance FOREVER” (Federal government Information). He soloed after that, interrupted only by way of a brief stint as Cultural Root base’ lead vocalist, with whom he waxed Cash, Sex and Assault for Runn Information. His first single record Bible and Weapon was made by Coxson Dodd for Special Music Information in 1982, the name track strike in Jamaica. Nearly prolific, he documented when the chance arose so when free to achieve this.
