Devil’s Whorehouse

Named following a song by iconic punk rockers the Misfits, Norrköping, Sweden’s Devil’s Whorehouse was produced in 2000 by guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson and bassist B. Battle (both associates of black steel titans Marduk) using the intent to be a Misfits and Samhain cover music group. Also offering vocalist Zweeda (guitarist using the Complete Bastards) and drummer Hrafn, the music group eventually relocated into composing their very own tunes, but always utilizing the Misfits’ blueprint (one-to-two minute tunes about trashy horror films) like a template. After debuting using the Howling EP, the music group recorded their 1st full recording in 2004’s Revelation Unorthodox.
