Harking back again to the electronic/rock and roll fusion pioneered in the ’80s and ’90s, industrial steel band Device had been produced in 2012 by Disturbed frontman David Draiman and former Filtering guitarist Geno Lenardo. Blending huge, intense guitars with pulsing synths and pounding is better than, Device’s audio is similar to works like Nine Inches Nails and Pass away Krupps, adding digital and dance elements with their audio without ever forgetting that, at their core, they’re a rock-band. Device produced their debut in 2013 using a self-titled album offering guest performances from Tom Morello, Serj Tankian, and Geezer Butler.
