Desperation Band

Substitute CCM outfit Desperation Music group grew away from a 2001 Christian pupil ministry conference kept by the brand new Life Cathedral in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Acquiring an alt-rock, U2-like stadium method of compliment & worship designs, the music group was originally focused around three compliment & worship songwriters, Jon Egan, Jared Anderson, and Glenn Pakiam, most of whom currently had effective musical careers heading and were more developed within the CCM community. While sticking with compliment & worship designs, Desperation Band created a fresh, contemporary audio for the genre, combining Brit-pop and Peter Gabriel-like soundscapes with grunge-inflected hard rock and roll. A debut recording, Desperation, made an appearance in 2003, accompanied by From your Rooftops in 2004, Who ARE YOU CURRENTLY in 2006, and Everyone Overcome in 2007, each which was documented at live compliment & worship gatherings. Released in ’09 2009, LIGHT the entire world was Desperation Band’s 1st studio recording, however they returned towards the live establishing for 2011’s Upgrade: Live, 2012’s Middle of EVERYTHING, and 2014’s Banner.
