Desperate Bycycles

Cribbing their name from J.B. Priestley’s Angel Pavement, the Desperate Bycycles had been a shambling wreck of the psychedelic post-punk music group that lasted lengthy enough release a one LP and several singles. Good friends with Scritti Politti, the initial lineup shaped in March of 1977, composed of drummer Dave Papworth, guitarist Nicky Stevens, bassist Roger Stevens, and vocalist Danny Wigley. The music group started Refill Information, which released a trio of their very own singles — including their 1977 debut, Smokescreen, which finished using a strident demand other groups to create their own information — before the full-length Remorse Code, released in early 1980. Prior to the LP premiered, Papworth and Roger Stevens exited, who had been changed by cheekily called guitarist Dan Electro (nee Driscoll) and drummer Jeff Titley. The music group released yet another independent single ahead of breaking up.
