Desoto Reds

Bay Region indie rock-band Desoto Reds may be the brainchild of vocalist/songwriter Alex Sterling. The group started being a duo in the past due ’90s before growing to some quartet, and gained local write-ups because of their homemade cassette produces. The Desoto Reds EP premiered in 1999, but 3 years transferred before Fogsnob Information released two Desoto Reds albums, Preppy Freakout, Vol. 1 as well as the disk of “chances and reds” Preppy Freakout, Vol. 2, concurrently on Apr 22, 2002. Floating Guy Records released the group’s following record, Hanglide Thru Yer Screen, on June 1, 2004.
