Desert Town Soundtrack started in Portland, and featured Matt Carillo (guitars, vocals), Cory Grey (secrets, vocals, trumpet), and Brian Wright (drums). More than some produces the trio perfected its lush, detached make of indie rock and roll that incorporated components of Created to Spill, Sebadoh, Ben Folds Five, as well as the emo motion. DCS issued several early 7″s before putting your signature on to Deep Elm and issuing the Items of Distraction EP in 2002. The Funeral Car LP implemented in 2003, as well as the music group appeared on the Deep Elm divide release with APPEARS LIKE Assault and Settlefish. Ideal Obsession, the trio’s second full-length, premiered in Sept 2005.
