Des Ark

Des Ark is primarily vocalist/guitarist Aimee Collet Argote. She acquired previously been associated with Rubeo, which released a 7″ on feminist label Mr. Lady in 1998. Des Ark started in 2001 as a complete band but ultimately sized right down to the duo of Argote and drummer Tim Herzog (also of Milemarker). Incredible Fever Information released a divide 7″ with Bellafea in Oct 2004, implemented in 2005 with the initial full-length, Loose Lip area Sink Boats, through Bifocal Mass media/Bakery Outlet Information. The last mentioned was documented by J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. Herzog still left the music group in Sept 2005, departing Argote to keep touring and documenting as Des Ark. In early 2007, Lovitt released a split Compact disc with Ben Davis, Fight from the Beards.
