Derek Miller

Guitarist and vocalist/songwriter Derek Miller is really a journeyman musician with eclectic flavor along with a knack for blues-inflected root base rock. Born in the Six Countries from the Grand River, Mohawk Place, in Canada in 1974, Miller became thinking about music in his early teenagers, and by the past due ’90s hadn’t just toured with iconic Canadian vocalist Buffy Sainte-Marie, but acquired also gained a Canadian Aboriginal Music Award. In 2000 he performed on and co-produced Keith Secola & the Crazy Band’s record Fingermonkey. After that, in 2002 he released his debut record, Music May be the Medicine, that he garnered a Juno Prize. Extensive touring implemented his debut achievement, and by 2005 Miller discovered himself fatigued and fighting drug and alcoholic beverages dependency. Subsequently, he inserted rehab and spent another 12 months attempting to regain his physical, mental, and religious wellness. In 2007 he released his sophomore work, The Dirty Appears.
