Department

The ambient/experimental rock duo Division was formed in 1997 by Spacious and Gatz, who began their partnership focusing on rock music. For the time being, Spacious collaborated with an organization known as Vauxdvihl, and Gatz worked well as an sound engineer for an entertainment organization. Department’s music steadily developed into something very much darker and artier, plus they signed using the indie label Lab. Their debut recording This Is Pressure Avenue premiered in past due 2000.
