Dennis Cahill

b. 16 June 1954, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Cahill was created to immigrant parents from State Kerry, Eire. Exhibiting a keen curiosity about music from youth, he started learning electric guitar at nine years. He subsequently examined the instrument on the respectable Chicago Music University, schooling under Howard Levy, Manuel Lopez Ramos, Steve Klein and Robert Becker. Through the entire 80s and 90s, Cahill progressed into perhaps one of the most reputed and innovative guitarists in the wonderful world of traditional Irish music. Not only content with associated tunes, he is rolling out a unique method of playing traditional and neo-traditional Irish music, incorporating the ornaments and subtleties utilized by the various musical instruments utilized inside the Irish music genre. In the first 90s, Cahill teamed up with traditional fiddle participant Martin Hayes. He provides performed and documented numerous acclaimed Irish traditional music professionals (including Kevin Burke, Liz Carroll, Seamus Egan, P.J. Hayes, Eileen Ivers, Arty McGlynn, Iarla Ó Lionáird and Liam O’Flynn), and provides made an appearance in concert halls and celebrations through the entire USA, European countries, China, and Australia. Cahill’s relationship and recording timetable with Martin Hayes proceeds apace, as will plans for the solo album.
