Dennis Binder

A cohort of Ike Turner in the first ’50s, Binder recorded entertaining novelty blues for the present day label in Clarksdale, MS, and United Information in Chicago. Edges from these periods have already been reissued by Ace in Britain and Delmark/Pearl in america, including the name monitor from Pearl’s Lengthy Man Blues collection. Binder transferred to Lawton, Fine, in the middle-’50s and it has documented sporadically since that time, devoting the majority of his time and energy to his work as bail bondsman.
