Delux

Hailing from Tijuana, Mexico, Delux broke onto the ever-growing international punk scene in the summertime of 2000. Inspired by 1980s brand-new wave music as well as the punk picture of Southern California, the music group leans towards the melodic pop-punk aspect, with solid, singable hooks and choruses. Because of large touring through 2004 and 2005 in the U.S. and Mexico, Delux produced a solid stateside group of fans and became children name on the native dirt. Their debut self-titled record that premiered in 2005 gained them regular airplay and spawned three music video clips. Their inclusion for the 2006 Warped Tour playbill displayed a major increase for the group, Delux becoming only the 3rd all-Spanish-language group to take action in the tour’s 11-yr history. Delux can be slated in 2006 for constant U.S., Latin American, and Western touring, as well as the launch of their sophomore record.
