b. Winston Delano Stewart, 5 January 1947, Kingston, Jamaica, Western Indies. Stewart started his career documenting alongside B.B. Seaton and Maurice Roberts within the vocal trio the Gaylads. From the past due 60s Stewart remaining the group to pursue a single profession and embarked on a documenting profession with Sonia Pottinger, with whom he previously worked within the Gaylads. In 1969 her creation abilities strengthened his achievement as a single performer when she released ‘Got To Arrive Back’, accompanied by the more lucrative ‘Stay A BIT Much longer’. Further produces included ‘That’s Existence’, which offered the rhythm monitor for Big Youngsters’s ‘Details Of Existence’, which paradoxically included a edition of ‘ABC Rocksteady’ within the b-side. Additional produces, ‘Dance With Me’, ‘Rocking Feeling’ and ‘Don’t HAVE CONFIDENCE IN Him’, had been included on his debut Stay A BIT Longer. In the first 70s, Stewart relocated to NY and maintained a minimal profile. By 1975 he came back using the critically acclaimed launch ‘Spinning Steering wheel’, which faltered due to lack of advertising.
