Dee Snider

Following the 1987 dissolution of Long Island pop-metal hitmakers Twisted Sister, frontman Dee Snider embarked on some solo and group projects that kept him busy with the ’90s. Snider initial formed a fresh band known as Desperado with guitarist Bernie Torme, bassist Marc Russell, and drummer Clive Burr. The group documented an record, Bloodied But Unbowed, that was hardly ever officially released (even though some copies do eventually pop-up internationally). Snider following shaped the heavier Widowmaker, keeping Russell on bass and recruiting guitarist Al Pitrelli and drummer Joey Franco (an associate of Twisted Sister for your group’s last recording). Widowmaker debuted with 1992’s Bloodstream & Bullets and were able to record yet another album, 1994’s The stand by position for Discomfort, before disbanding. Snider following turned his focus on film, particularly the horror genre; he had written, created, and acted in Strangeland, that was released in 1998. Snider also performed on / off with an clothing known as the SMFs, that was dedicated mainly to Twisted Sister repertoire. In 2000, Snider released his first single recording (with Bernie Torme on acoustic guitar). Titled Under no circumstances Allow Bastards Put on You Down, the record was made up mostly of tracks through the ’80s that Snider got under no circumstances previously documented for official launch. The singer continuing to do something and do tone of voice work in to the 2000s before coming back in 2012 with Dee Will Broadway and in 2016 with WE HAVE BEEN those, the latter which presented a newly documented acoustic rendition from the Twisted Sister traditional “We’re Not really Gonna Consider It.”
