Decyfer Down

Originally operating beneath the moniker Allysonhymn (pronounced “all-eyes-on-him”), Christian rockers Decyfer Straight down create a Wall structure of Sound with a note. Produced in 2002 throughout the abilities of drummer Josh Oliver, vocalist/bassist Caleb Oliver, and guitarists Brandon Mills and Chris Clonts, the band’s melodic and hard-driving debut, End of Gray, appeared on Sony Information in June 2006. The record became quite popular within the Christian community, sending four consecutive singles into large rotation on the web radio place ChristianRock.net. Caleb Oliver still left the lineup quickly thereafter, and previous Fighting with each other Instinct vocalist T.J. Harris was enlisted in his place. Coming back in ’09 2009 using the Grammy-nominated sophomore work Crash, Decyfer Down garnered even more support from unbiased Christian rock and roll radio. Additionally, the album’s name track was highlighted within the pay-per-view broadcast of WrestleMania XXV, hence revealing the band’s music to some wider market. The well-received, Good Trade Services-issued Scarecrow fell in 2013, accompanied by a compilation LP, Anthology, in 2014. Drummer Josh Oliver still left the fold the next calendar year, and in 2016 the music group released the crowd-funded Various other Aspect of Darkness, their 4th studio room outing and initial independent release.
