December Mulligan was an interesting oddity in mid-’60s rock and roll: a musician through the Uk Isles who found fame, briefly, seeing that a member of 1 of the initial American groupings to successfully react to the Uk Invasion. He was among the two guitarists in the Beau Brummels. Though his function was subordinate to major vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Ron Elliott and business lead vocalist Sal Valentino, he do do harmonies, got an occasional business lead vocal, and had written a decent tune that they documented, “She Loves Me,” although that wouldn’t obtain released before 1980s. For some listeners, Mulligan’s most remarkable contribution towards the Beau Brummels’ recordings was the eerie stream of harmonica that opened up their initial and most well-known hit, “Have a good laugh, Have a good laugh.” Mulligan was raised in State Tipperary, Ireland, before shifting to Toronto and SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, where he fulfilled a lot of the Beau Brummels at an Irish dance. Mulligan was just with the music group, however, through the summertime of 1965, when he was terminated or quit for factors that aren’t completely clear, apart from general personal incompatibility. Within the next couple of years he performed in the neighborhood rings Mulligan Stew, and the Dark Velvet Music group, which in the first ’70s also included fellow ex-Beau Brummel Ron Meagher. In the middle-’70s he performed and recorded having a reunited Beau Brummels.
