He was among the two guitarists in the Beau Brummels. Though his function was subordinate to major vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Ron Elliott and business lead vocalist Sal Valentino, he do do harmonies, got an occasional business lead vocal, and had written a decent tune that they documented, “She Loves Me,” although that wouldn’t obtain released before 1980s. Within the next couple of years he performed in the neighborhood rings Mulligan Stew, and the Dark Velvet Music group, which in the first ’70s also included fellow ex-Beau Brummel Ron Meagher.
