Debi Nova

Pop songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Debi Nova knew she wished a profession in music before was a good teenager. Blessed in San Jose, Costa Rica, she initial discovered piano at age four and was fronting a locally well-known band in just a matter of years. After senior high school, she transferred to LA to wait UCLA, but her research had been sidetracked when she was asked to become listed on Sergio Mendes on tour being a history vocalist; this opened up the entranceway to some collaborations, from 2001 through 2004, using the disparate prefers of Maxwell, Norman Dark brown, the Dark Eyed Peas, Louie Vega, and Boney Adam. It wasn’t before fall of 2004 that she released her initial single, the radiant “One Tempo,” that was remixed by Ralphi Rosario and visited the top from the Billboard Dance Music/Membership Play graph. Though her single profession stalled, she continued to be productive being a collaborator, showing up on recordings by Rhymefest, Ricky Martin, Charlie Wilson, Sean Paul, Vikter Duplaix, Britney Spears, Illa J, and Sa-Ra. All of this activity fostered her development not only being a performer but as a songwriter comfy writing both in Spanish and British (sometimes inside the same tune). By enough time she associated with Decca and ready her debut record, 2010’s Luna Nueva, she got six Latin Grammy nominations to her credit. In 2014, Nova released her second full-length, Soy, which gained her a Latin Grammy nomination for Greatest Modern Pop Vocal Record. She appeared for the Colombian model of the tv screen series Dance with the Superstars in 2016, where she won initial award. Nova’s third record, Gran Ciudad, premiered in March 2017.
