Deathfix

Washington D.C.’s Deathfix created in ’09 2009 when maker High Morel and ex-Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty fulfilled even though touring in Bob Mould’s back-up music group. Both multi-instrumentalist songwriters bonded more than a deep like of pop and rock and roll noises from 1972 and started focusing on recordings in Canty’s house studio. Over time of piecemeal documenting, the duo enlisted bassist Tag Cisneros and drummer Devin Ocampo to complete the live edition of the music group. The newly extended quartet finished up operating collaboratively on sketches that Canty and Morel experienced spent a lot of 2012 perfecting for his or her self-titled debut in Canty’s studio room, drawing on affects which range from Big Celebrity to LCD Soundsystem. The recording premiered on Dischord in early 2013.
