Death Ambient

Death Ambient may be the name of the instrumental task of innovative improvisers guitarist Fred Frith, bassist Kato Hideki, and downtown body Ikue Mori on drum devices. The follow-up with their self-titled 1995 debut on John Zorn’s Tzadik label was 1999’s Synaesthesia, also on Tzadik. After eight years aside they retuned with visitor percussionist Jim Pugliese and their third record, Drunken Forest.
