Deanna Bogart

Drawing on a number of music sources which range from boogie-woogie to New Orleans R&B to golf swing to rock and roll & move, singer and barrelhouse pianist Deanna Bogart surfaced among the most eclectic performers in contemporary blues. Delivered in Detroit in 1960, she lower her teeth for the Maryland blues circuit, creating a crowd-pleasing design that often discovered her leaping up from her piano bench to speak to the viewers; clad in her brand dark fedora, Bogart was also recognized to blow a mean tenor saxophone. A gifted composer aswell, her debut LP, Out to truly get you, made an appearance in 1991, implemented in 1992 by Crossing Edges; a four-year hiatus preceded the discharge of New Address on Lightyear. Timing Can be Everything was self-released in 2003, accompanied by REAL-TIME on Blind Pig Information in 2006. 11th Hour made an appearance in ’09 2009 from Vista Music.
