DeWolf made several albums on Chess’ folk subsidiary, Argo Folk, in 1963-1964: Folkswinger (1963) and Large Tide (1964). DeWolf was an average folksinger from the period, playing a normal repertoire emphasizing breezy touring songs and even more melancholy ballads, having a tiny pop-folk crossover experience. Therefore singers proceed, he was a little bit above typical, and his plans are interesting for the reason that they occasionally utilized light drums, though it would be extending it much too much to contact it folk-rock and even pre-folk-rock.
