Dead Fader

Initially located in Brighton, England and comprising John Cohen and Barry Prendergast, Dead Fader first appeared this year 2010 with single “Autumn Rot” and full-length Corrupt My Examiner. Issued by U.K. label 3bcon3, also house to the likewise minded Cloaks, Deceased Fader’s music was a severe, punishing mixture of sound, commercial, and electro affects, resembling what may have occurred if Wolf Eye attemptedto make dubstep. The duo’s damaged, distorted sound captured the interest of followers of harder-edged digital music, plus they quickly performed gigs and celebrations with famous brands Napalm Loss of life, Merzbow, and Otto Von Schirach.
