De Lux

Inspired with the past due-’70s and early-’80s era that birthed post-punk and post-disco — and seemingly a good part of the like-minded DFA label roster, from LCD Soundsystem to Holy Ghost! — De Lux is certainly a duo comprising Sean Guerin and Isaac Franco. Located in LA, the music artists debuted in past due 2013 using a five-track EP released through a relationship with ScionAV. Led by “Better at Producing Period,” the EP also included a remix by Guests (aka Sal Principato of Water Water and Dennis Kane). In Apr 2014, De Lux released their debut record, Voyage, on Innovative Amusement. The set included several new music, along with “Better at Producing Period” and another EP high light, “Love Is certainly a Stage.” Simply over a season afterwards, the duo came back with Era, a darker group of music influenced with the music of ESG and will as well as the uninhibited lyrics of Karen Finley.
