Daze

Within the wake of Aqua’s unexpected stateside success in 1997, several new Europop groups received a large push from main labels. Among these was the Denmark-based Daze. Led by songwriters/keyboardists Sieber and J.T. and offering vocalist Trine Bix, the group’s 1st solitary, “Superhero,” became an enormous Scandinavian strike upon its launch in nov 1997, and its own accompanying recording, Super Heroes, reached number 1 in Denmark and number 3 in Scandinavia. Within the springtime of 1998, the recording received the Danish Grammy comparative for Greatest Dance Recording of the entire year. On the effectiveness of all this Western european success, Columbia agreed upon the group and released Super Heroes in the summertime of 1998.
