Daylight’s for the Birds

Daylight’s for the Wild birds feature Philip Wann (vocals, keyboards, electric guitar), Jay Giampietro (electric guitar), Brad Conroy (drums), and Amanda Garrett (vocals). The original lineup from the music group came jointly in 2005 upon the break up of Wann’s prior group, On!Atmosphere!Library!, which disbanded the entire year prior after one record for Arena Rock and roll. By adding Giampietro, both music artists headed right into a Brooklyn studio room in summertime 2005, and jammed for 12-hour times almost every other week. The connection that formed resulted in the dreamy experimental indie rock and roll noises of Daylight’s for the Wild birds. Ex-On!Atmosphere!Library! vocalist Claudia Deheza added back-up vocals of these sessions, nonetheless it wasn’t until previous Boggs drummer Conroy and vocalist Garrett agreed upon on that Daylight’s for the Wild birds became official. Displays with Calla, Prefuse 73, as well as the Silversun Pickups implemented into the brand-new season. Their debut LP, Problems Everywhere, arrived upon this Era Tapes in fall 2006.
